Emily Rose Wetherell is a bespoke clothing brand established in 2011 and based in the heart of London. Its simple philosophy – quality above all – has led to its word-of-mouth success.

Emily studied languages at Durham University where her sewing skills were in demand, making ballgowns for her fellow students. Her course sent her to France and Emily took the opportunity to enrol at the prestigious ESMOD. There she completed an intensive diploma course in design and pattern cutting, for which she gained the Certificat Styliste-Modéliste.

After graduating from Durham she was accepted for the postgraduate degree in Creative Pattern Cutting for the Industry at London College of Fashion, where she received a Merit Pass. It was during an internship at Aquascutum that Emily received her first professional commissions from two women looking for something unique to wear to the Royal Wedding. Recommendations followed and it soon became clear to Emily that she had created a full-time job for herself, which she has since turned into a bespoke women’s tailoring and alterations business.
